I haven't had it yet, but will try it today. Those that have had it, is it spicy / good?

I think that the word "volcano" may be exaggerating the actual spiciness of the taco, but it is VERY tasty.
With the help of quite a few hot sauces, it can indeed live up to its name. Definitely worth buying.

Dave's "Ultimate" Insanity is my sauce of choice. ;]
Although I don't want to have the ****s for school which starts tomorrow. So... I might avoid all that.

Haha, point taken. I usually use Tobasco sauce, but if I'm REALLY feeling adventurous, I put Frostbite onto my food.
I have yet to try it on this certain taco yet, but DAMN, your mouth will be on fire (a good fire, of course).
Of course, I think that the hottest thing that you can possibly use is a Blair's product

Brings back memories of when I'd visit my grandma in Mexico and she'd make us some delicious Volcano Tacos in bright red shells.

Dave's Insanity is meh. It's not too hot, I just don't like the flavor. So many better sauces out there.

Its just a regular taco in a red dyed shell with some type of hot sauce squirted between the meat and the veggies. Its about as hot as a regular taco with Fire sauce on it...

They actually had this already last year, too, for a limited time. I remember it being pretty tasty.
Taco Bell is good stuff going down, but I always feel like crap afterwards.

Had one earlier today.. It's tasty.. just not hot. I was disappointed with that, but I would get it again since it's only 89 cents.

Too bad I don't like Taco Bell at all. They've really gone down hill. Used to be that I'd go there for quesadillas, but stopped when I found a better fast food place with quesadillas. Seriously, Del Taco > Taco Bell. I don't like that cheese sauce stuff the put in the quesadillas.
Of course, neither can compare to sit in family mexican restaurants. Man, they know how to do it right.
And of course gonna throw out there that I'm a fan of spicy foods. Whenever the are marketed as spicy, they aren't which makes me sad. At least I can always make it up to my standards.

It's cheaper than a regular crunchy taco, and more flavorful, so would eat again. It's not really spicy(the kick is akin to the "bite" in Barq's Rootbeer), but it is good.

That sauce is what makes the quesadillas in my opinion.
But, I think that Taco Time is really good. If you have one near you, you should try it.

Although if you think about it, any taco at Taco Bell could be called a Volcano Taco because something "erupts" out of a "hole" after consumption...

The first part is sorta true, the second part is definitely true.
Del Taco > Taco Bell
Taco Johns > Taco Bell
