My guess is that "Solo Bass" is just because you can play bass in Quickplay. So, they need a way to track people's scores doing solo bass quickplay runs. I doubt there's a tour for it given they've specifically said there wasn't one many times.

what's up with there being no Boston venue in Drum Play? I'm assuming they have one in at least some of the modes. I'd love to play anywhere on Landsdowne St. (except maybe Axis). haha.

Most likely it just takes the bass scores from quick play. I doubt they all of a sudden decided to add a Bass career mode.
