I've been wondering this. Since GHIII and RB will be putting DLC on both PS3 and 360. And at the same price If they get the same cut from each company and what not. Aren't they doubling their profits?
Like for example, I sell my things to Wal-Mart and K-Mart. People buy it from both stores, so I make more money then just selling from one store.
Like I said, I've been thinking about this for about 2 weeks. And if anybody else has thought of this or if I'm plain just wrong, give it to me

I don't really get this, other than to say yeah, it's common sense. The more places you sell your stuff, the more money you stand to make. It's not always a simple doubling though, because you have to consider cannibalizing your sales. If you open a BestBuy in Supertown, and then it does really well and you make $1 million, so you decide to open a 2nd one, you can't necessarily expect to make $1 million on that one too. In RB's case, there will be people who will have both a PS3 and a 360, and likely won't be buying the DLC on both (let alone RB on both systems). In this case, there are more 360's in the US, so I'd expect the 360 DLC sales to be greater than the PS3's, but I don't really see that its shocking that they would be selling DLC on both systems.

It really isn't doubling, but yes the more platforms they put it on, the more money they will most likely make. So if they only sold it on the 360 they would make less money than if they sold it on the 360 and PS3 simply because it would allow more people to buy it this way.
