360 Screen is "Zoomed in"

I'm not sure why this is happening, but when I play the game the screen seems to be "zoomed in" as the song titles are halfway off of the top of the screen. If I start the game without logging in it's fine, but as soon as I log in it "zooms in" and the left edges of the menu options on the title screen jump off of the screen.

I can't find any screen options within the game, and the 360 is set to the defaults for my standard-res TV (using a MS S-video cable). I'm wondering if the problem might have started with me playing it on my friend's HDTV once a week. Maybe switching back and forth has somehow confused the 360?

Anybody have any ideas? I'm guessing I'm overlooking something.

Never mind. Finally found the Overscan option buried in the manual calibration options. Is it just me or does that seem like a strange menu to put it in?

I have this problem too, but didn't think that overscan applied to my television.
Thanks a lot for the post, this will help when my friends come around and complain about not being able to see when they fail :)
