I hope this wasn't posted before... But it seems we are getting closer and closer to having robots as *slaves*. Pretty soon they'll rebel against human and take over planet earth! :eek:

In translating on-the-fly what the robots say:

The top robot offers to answer any question you ask. When he asks her favorite color, she explains it is green, but the video cuts off. The rest is translated already.

The bottom robot:
"Hello everyone, good afternoon. Today a lot of people have showed up. I'm very happy! Everybody here is ...[background noise]... right? I'm an android. You call a robot that looks human an android. Ah, were you startled because you thought I was a human?"

That's to about 1:12 in the video.

She starts talking about systems and stuff, but there's too much background noise that I can't pick out the words after that. I start to struggle at that point because she isn't loud enough and when you don't practice Japanese for like 4 years, you really have to listen to get the meaning. At the end, she starts expressing regret for something, but the video cuts off.

They look cool but it doesn't seem to have any AI. There just preprogramed with set responses and the makers put in answers to questions that average people would ask. There not any more advanced then the robots at Disney world. The second one could even be just remote controlled from somewhere with a real person answering the questions
