Brand New Rock Band on Wii Freezing up!!

Just bought Rock Band Special Edition for Wii TODAY. Hooked everything up per the instructions and during group play with ONLY the hub, guitar, and drums connected, the Wii froze up on EVERY song we tried to play. I checked the disk to ensure it wasn't scratched from the factory, hooked the drums and guitar up without the hub, and even adjusted the Wii's position to ensure it wasn't getting too hot - but no luck..

Is there a patch online or am I doing something wrong??

Why did you waste this long of a time?? Rock Band 2 and Gh:WT are coming up in a month!!!!!!! And why on the Wii!!!! Should've invested on an Xbox.

Try exchanging it or just save for a PS3 =D

Ok.. I tried exchanging it for a new one.. Same thing - right from the menu screen..

So does anyone (like a mod, smod, admin, or say some Harmonix Tech Support Staff...) actually have some useful inputs???

I am having the same issues with the new RB3. The first night we bought the disk we played it for hours without any problems. Last night we played it and it froze up on us a couple of times and did a couple of strange things. Tonight it was doing it again so we tried to exchange our disk for a new one and tried the brand new disk and it was worse than the first one. There has to be something going on with this game because we can play our RB 1 and 2, AC/DC, Beatles and Country versions all with NO ISSUES whatsoever. And no, I am not going to buy an XBox or another system...I like my Wii. Rock Band needs to figure out what is going on and come up with something to fix it if we are all having the same similar issues.
