Pretty sure I hate Coldplay.
Pretty sure all of their songs would be snooze-worthy to play.
But if a lot of people like them then sure, bring 'em on. I can sit out a week.

I won't bash them, but I genuinely could never understand their appeal. I just can't imagine picking up an instrument and wanting to make that sound.

I love this song. I absolutely love it. But what in the world makes you think it is suitable for Rock Band? There is almost no guitar - the main riff is all strings. The only guitar consists of overdubs for ambiance. The drums consist almost entirely of a bass drum beat for the entire song. The bass is the most prominent part of this song, but it's not even that interesting.

It's one of my favorite songs right now, but it is in no way suitable for this game. Coldplay would be welcome, though.

it does, the sound just doesn't stand out as much as the other instruments. as for coldplay in general, i'm loyal to them, i stood waiting at walmart to put the new cd on the shelves for about an hour. yeah i own both rock band ang gh3, but as soon as the coldplay pack came avalible for gh3, i picked it up as soon as it was avalible for download. but if rock band was to ever get any coldplay, i'd get it immedietly!(its cool, call me a fanboy) ;)

I never noticed the guitars in there, but I guess there are. It still wouldn't be very interesting, although it is a great song. Coldplay has much better choices, IMO.

I wouldn't download it but I wouldn't mind if it were released. It's one of those bands that I think are good, but don't like at all. If that makes any sense.

I really enjoy Coldplay, but most of their music doesn't really lend itself well to Rock Band. They are generally very precussion and vocal heavy while being extremely light (read as easy) on guitar and bass. If you want an example, check out the Guitar Hero III version of Violet Hill, and I think you'll see what I mean.

So, as much as I love Coldplay and that song, it would not work in Rockband. Better give us something like Shiver or Violet Hill.
