This game needs some nickelback, three days grace, breaking benjamin, paramore. Im sick of all these old songs. Get some new ones, thats the way your gonna sell this game. People want to play songs they love right now.

PLEASE MAKE THESE SONGS DOWNLOADABLE WHEN IT COMES OUT! Im almost tempted not to buy the game because there isnt enough good songs that i like. lets fresh this game up with some new stuff.

The game has more new songs than it has old songs.. unless you really count the 90s as old. They have plenty of songs from 2000s on and Plenty of 90s songs.

Plus.. No one wants to play Nickleback, well atleast real rock stars (joking)

These wont be out for DLC anytime soon if at all.. Seems they are focusing on more older stuff for DLC!

Misery business would be AWESOME to play on the drums , Let the flames begin would be awesome to play on guitar , and Hallelujiah would be awesome to sing

Well then don't get the game, the next thing they need is someone hating the music that started it all, (The Who, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden). It's the reason they call it "Rock Band",

good suggestions: breaking benjamin and 3 days grace are very good, not to mention popular on the radio right now. Paramore's a decent band too.

I agree that people do want to play newer stuff. The people that post on these forums are a horrible example of RB's real audience; the majority of the people playing will just be playing to goof around with friends, and they won't like most of the classics as much as the new stuff. There will be more people excited about Jet than about Black Sabbath.
