Its so true, Rock Band might be the last game I ever buy. Thats how I feel right now at least!

Good thing you got your Xbox back, cutting it a bit close too!

Hope it's in good shape. I got one that was dirty and had scratches on it before. It only lasted about 3 weeks anyway.

Mine looks pretty damn solid. I'm not even gonna bother using it until Tuesday. I can just use my buddies until then.

If I were you I would atleast check it out and make sure it works. It would suck if you can't play on tues because they sent you a shotty replacement!!

rrod is the reason i finally got rid of mine
between me and brother in law we'ev gone thru 7 fo them
and i even have a box fan that i always keep pluged in behind my system so far noprobs with my ps3 so good luck and rock on

Exactly! I'd rather find out bad news sooner rather than later. Then atleast you can send it back in and play on your friends? It would be lesswaiting time too. But now its friday so it doesn't really matter now....lol

There was a story circulating the internet about the guy who got his box back. It wouldnt turn on, so he got pissed off and opened it up himself to find that there was no motherboard in it.

Better feed some homeless people and visit a nursing home to get your karma up. I mean you are a Pats fan. j/k :p

When did they receive your xbox for repair? They finally got mine on the 13th and it's being repaired now, hoping they just send me a quick refirb and I get it early next week.

Yeah that's what I figured--but I recently joined the rest of the world and got a DS, so that'll keep me occupied until then so no worries. Plus a bar in Chapel Hill is going to have a copy for video game mondays, so I can just play there for a while.
