Regular TRL videos are replaced by an arbitrary countdown of best rock videos ever. And so far, they've only introduced the game and contest happening on the show. Nothing else yet.

I'm loving that they are actually playing awesome rock songs on TRL compliments of the Rock Band soundtrack!

AKA Run to the Hills!

I wonder if all the bands and songs they are showing on the TRL Rock Band special will be available at some point in the game.

They played Motley Crue 'Wild Side' - Not announced or anything.
then Foo Fighters 'Learn to Fly' - On Retail Disc
then Iron Maiden 'Run to the Hills' - On Retail Disc

Also, they had Good Charlotte helping one of the bands with their stage performance back stage, showing them how to use different Rock Band instruments. Why would they be that involved if they aren't going to have a song(s) in Rock Band?

Interviewing the second band now, with Paramore helping out the second band.

Played Bon Jovi 'Wanted Dead or Alive'

One of the Judges is Tom DeLong from Angels & Airwaves

Played Angels & Airwaves 'Everything's Magic'

I'll keep this updated! :)

Paramore and Good Charlotte? Please no.

(Actually, I don't care. It's DLC and other people will like it I guess. Easy passes for me though.)

Sabastian Bach and Angels and airwaves are judges. Hopefully Bach will give us some Skid Rowe DLC (18 and Life, I Remember, Youth gone wild)

ThePaska

It isn't an MTV rock show unless Sabastian Bach is there! I hope we do get a little Skid Row DLC, that would be pretty awesome.

they did alright on Are You Gonna Be My Girl.

ThePaska
11-15-2007, 08:16 AM
Yea they did well, I hope the other band does well too. Can't wait to see what song they played. I think the ultimate Rock Band experience is playing on stage with a crowd, that would be so awesome, I want ot be able to throw my drum sticks into the crowd.

I just hope someone doesn't fail out. That'd be pretty damn embarrasing.

Wow these guys rock way harder than the first band, they better win.

I also love the Spinal Tap quote he threw in there.

I'm not trying to hate cause I really love Paramore too, but it really wouldn't be fun. Its waaay too easy for real guitar. I'd be almost willing to bet you could learn it in a day if you'd never played guitar before.

Awesome. I hope Angels & Airwaves "The Adventure" will be a downloadable track. Though... "Everything's Magic" would be nice too.

Good Charlotte isn't the only band "teaching" the bands how to rock. Paramore was the first one, I'm not sure if there was more.

EDIT: Didn't see the other half of your sentence. Sorry.

sure it might be easy for the guitar solo career...but i think it would be fun to rock out as a band to this song.

While the guitar parts aren't tough, they aren't that easy, and Paramore is mostly about the vocals anyway.

I'd be quite happy if Riot! was announced as DLC.

Who won??? I recorded it on my DVR but right b4 Sabastien Bach was gonna cast his vote it ended. The 1st band really sucked ass but they had a girl [who wasnt even that cute]. the 2nd band rocked, they had charisma and the crowd was loving the Ramones.

Keebler

Helleanor Brozavelt, the 2nd band, won.

Lol the exact same thing happened to me. Hellanor brozavelt won. Their preformance was wayyy better than carry me home. Not only did they know how to work the stage and the crord but they could actually play their instruments. Where the hell did they find the first band??? They suckeddddd. I could have done wayyy better than the guitarist and bassist.

go to the TRL website and its on their, the interviews and Hellanor Brozavelt's performance, and lol Freddie Wong won, didn't see that coming, he is the epitamy of what Rock Band is all about.
