Was a sensible post till this.

Why ask for the singles and well known songs, why not the better and lesser known songs? Like Mother Russia or Alexander The Great or To Tame A Land? Wheres the Blaze love?

Once again, we should be pushing for the entire discography - not just one or two songs! (and please, no Trooper AGAIN they play that song enough on each tour....I dont want to hear it again unless its with the rest of Piece of Mind)

I don't want COVERS because they will never re do those songs or put them in RB2 as masters ever again.... which sucks BIG TIME

It is not that they cannot get the masters.. it is they aren't useable! There is a difference.. I bet if they tried some newer material.. they would be usuable.

I really hope that the cover of Run to the Hills isnt purely because the drums were mixed too low originally, it would be a crying shame. I hope it is some kind of exclusivity deal.

They have a vid of Run to the Hills on the main site, cover seems REALLY good. Compared to the singer on Trooper in GH2, this is a hell of a lot better.

Because if it was an exclusivity deal it still means theres a chance that the drums werent mixed too low in the original recording and thus we may have a chance for master on RB2 or DLC later on.
If it was an issue with the drums being mixed too low, then they would never be able to use the master. Thats the whole point!

Either way, they would have to be covers.

Anyway, ^like he said, the cover isnt that bad. I think its the closest we can get to Dickinson other than using that singer from the scottish tribute band (hes very good) or Dickinson himself.
As long as they dont do covers of the Paul or Blaze ones without first asking them to come in and maybe sing some new vocals on them - they both seem very eager to sing their Maiden years and both play thier respective written songs in their solo bands fairly regularly.

They must be tough to license music from because it took awhile for GH to get Maiden on the set list.

I love the entire album concept. Honestly I'd buy every Maiden album, Blaze days and all if I could play it with Rock Band.
