I'm a big fan of many hard rock, heavy metal, speed metal, etc. type bands...but OMG...to leave out the legend that is AC/DC...???

I can only assume that either the band, AC/DC or the devs. at RB, don't want us all to go destroying our fingers trying to emulate Angus Young..!!

Maybe I'll just hold my breath till' I turn blue and wait for some DLC for AC/DC...!!

Chances are they didn't have the money or couldn't get the rights.

HMX often said they tried to get them and they still try to get them.

But they are hard to get. ;)

It's sad... i'd buy this game in a second if it had AC/DC in it (and if I had any money). Lets just hope they get them sooner or later.

I'm not a big fan of AC/DC , in fact I really dislike them. But a lot of people do love them and there is no reason for them to stop trying to get them in the game. Tons of AC DC fans out there and would give this game even more pull.

Where are the balls and power from MTV, FFS? Getting this mega giant on the gravy train was supposed to help with pulling weight, and they can't get a has-been band on board?

Have to agree, couldn't get the rights... Certain bands just won't give them (was shocked Metallica gave them). But don't fool yourself into thinking AC/DC is all that hard. Way I learned to play rock guitar was on AC/DC tabs because they are some of the easier ones to do (generally only power chords for most of the song). Not saying they are bad, they just aren't that difficult.

With the name recognition it would generate, you'd have to believe GH3 or RB would have them on the retail disc if they could.

I have a feeling MTV's clout is far more... clouty when it comes to modern artists. They weren't really influential until they started playing Michael Jackson and Madonna.

I didnt mean it like that :P.
I think what I ment to say,was its as hard as getting Led Zeppelin.
Remember in the School of Rock where Black had to BEG for The immigrant Song?
Its kinda like that.

GET BEGGING MTV! ;)

I dunno, I hear Angus' favorite show is Laguna Beach.

It took Verizon YEARS to license AC/DC for their VCast program. I wouldn't be surprised if it'll just be a matter of time before they'll come on board.

I'm an old dude and have seen AC/DC 3 times in concert including once when Bon was singing. Awesome live band. Have I missed any recent US tours? I know they have released some new material, but haven't seen any shows listed.

AC/DC would be great, but not the singing part. Tough to sing anything like Brian and make it sound right.

MTV could harness that info somehow. Make the actresses beg in-show!!!

I seem to recall something about AC/DC being completely opposed to electronic distribution of it's music in general. They're basically the polar opposite of bands like Radiohead and NIN. I would imagine this opposition would include video games and the like as well. I don't understand it, but that's what I've come to understand.

Yea, but who doesn't want to play/sing: Highway To Hell, Back In Black, Hells Bells, Beating Around The Bush, and a crap load more.

Verizon just got Led Zeppelin for ring tones and ringback...

So AC/DC and Led Zep for DLC!!

This is my point, Nilsen! Heck, if RB got AC/DC on the band-wagon, they'd probabley sell about a bajillion more copies! Some people are VERY particular about their musical tastes, and what they will and won't buy, and what they will and won't listen to....but, you can put me in the category of the "old school rockers.." and I KNOW sales of RB would sky-rocket if AC/DC got signed!

I think the AC/DC DLC is in the ultimate setlist forum ;)
