They were removed a while back when there was a forum attack by some members of Gaia Online. Same reason URL and IMG codes are (still) disabled in regular posts.

Oh well, they drive me nuts I would prefer them to be off anyway. Guess I will have to see if I can find an option to turn off images in sigs... Most of them are too big.

But I didn't make this thread to point out my band. I never changed my Sig code since the images were disabled, so until today, it just showed the URL of the picture.

I just noticed today that the picture is showing up again :)

Yeah it seems that the devs have enable certain people's sig images. Probably people that have posted a lot that they know by now are harmless (relatively) :)
