Character creation ''Wishlist''


I bet most of you aren't even really interested in this part of the game, plus it isnt confirmed yet, but I had some ideas..

I thought it would be fun that, since there are 4 ''themed'' clothing shops, there should be a big variety of clothing and looks..
Like there would be a shop with
''classic rock clothing'', Bandana's, Jackets, 70's clothing.
''emo/screamo rock clothing'', Striped stuff, make up, converse-like shoes, piercings, ''emo'' hairstyles, wristbands

''country rock clothing'', cowboy vests, cowboy hats, boots, hillbilly-ish stuff
''industrial/metal/death metal clothing'', large boots, spiked wristbands, leather jackets, biker stuff.
Then there should be a wardrobe, so you can mix and match everything you've bought at the store(with GAME money, please NO MSP!)

Also, other than clothing to decide what height, weight, and face ''style'' your character has.
For guitars is kinda the same as clothing, classic rock guitars,emo/screamo style guitars(broken heart stickers on it),country rock guitar(banjo, horse head guitar),metal guitars(skullheads, flames etc.) and also with finsishes for each guitar!

Yeah that's definitely along the lines of what I was thinking to. Just a few weeks ago I wasn't fussed about being able to customise your character but after thinking about it I reckon it'll be awesome.

And being able to put stickers or custom paint jobs on guitars would be sweet too.

I'm not really interested in this aspect of the game, and I hope other elements of the game are not compromised because too much effort went in to this sort of thing.

I am happy enough with the default characters. In the four player mode, from what screenshots have been floatinging around, you won't see an awful lot of the characters anyway.

It would be nice if they had a Forza like interface to put a logo on the back of the clothes, or mabye a band tattoo or something, but preferably something that could be generated on a PC then uploaded.

Other than that, concentrate on Multiplayer please, its gotta work, and work goooood.

Yeah, i wouldn't be as fussed if it weren't for the Online play. I think it'll be sweet to be able to play Co-Op with friends or stranger and all look different rather than having the same thing over and over.

you forgot to mention having the option of making our characters play lefty, as well :D

it would be nice for them to throw us lefties a bone in our direction, but im sure they wouldn't leave out something like that in probably the most anticipated game of the decade :p

I have completed a couple of songs using lefty flip on Expert now :) not bad for a 'righty' hehe.

I hate watching my character prance around on GH with a right handed guitar when I'm a leftie. It's just a disgrace to the way I do things and I think Rock Fashion is a big part of Rock Bands and I think it's important that be involved in the game so we can keep the diversity in the people who play the music as much as the music itself.

I'd definitely like to see band t-shirts from bands in the game.

To be absolutely honest, it's going to be one of the major selling points for me if you can create and edit your rocker. The idea is complete and utter awesome:D

This was confirmed before GI, and mix-n-match is a given, so I can make a punk/goth rocker. And a black bass player. xD

You forgot 90's grunge, but Im sure that would make it into there. Plus with DLC and unlockables. It would be sweet to creat look alikes of real musicians because I would totally make a Trent Reznor look alike.

You're all forgetting what this game really needs. And that is upright basses. You basically need one to create a cool Rockabilly band.
