CLASSIC metal please....

I didn't say anything when the roadrunner, earache, soad or disturbed packs came out but this is getting ridiculous.

We haven't gotten classic metal since Judas Priest and a measly IM single and we haven't gotten classic extreme metal since Metallica (and that's ALL we got).

Why should we have more 00's metal? It's HORRIBLE (okay exceptions: megadeth and dream theater). Like I've said millions of times: Venom, Exodus, Death, Possessed, Slayer, Anthrax, Coroner, Kreator, Sepultura, Celtic Frost, Sodom, Bathory, Mayhem, Mercyful Fate, Morbid Angel........ Give us the damn 80's..........

That's not really what I think of when "classic metal" comes to mind, but I'll take it all. Venom, Death, Mercyful Fate, and Celtic Frost would be a great extreme metal pioneers pack.

How about some classic doom, also? Candlemass, Witchfinder General, and Pentagram would be amazing.

Every band I listed IS classic extreme, the poll is "80's extreme?"

They were the first extreme metal bands and I'm glad you argue with them mr. "st. anger avatar" moron.

The only classic metal that isn't extreme is obvious and doesn't need to be mentioned (a big whopping 6 heavy metal bands all of which are already in this game besides LZ) (well one of them will be with rb2)

Yay, an ad hominem. I love these. You're correct, I'm not a big thrash fan. The only thrash I really listen to is Metallica and Megadeth. But your thread title clearly says "CLASSIC metal". That doesn't really mean "Extreme". Classic metal would be bands like Sabbath, Dio, Maiden, Priest, etc. If you want extreme metal, that's cool, but title your thread correctly. "Extreme metal" is not the only type of metal out there.
