All the tracks are masters, except for the ones with asterisks -- those are cover versions, and if you're curious to know why some artists only seem to appear as re-creations...um, check our forthcoming January issue. Heh heh heh.
I'm assuming we already know that the answer will center around missing masters and unusable masters with mixed-down drum tracks. But hey, something Rock Band newsworthy to watch out for I guess. Hopefully the answer will be complete and let us know if there's any other reasons why there's been covers apart from master problems. Does anyone know about when the January OXM issue will likely be getting to subscribers?
