I don't see how they could release more info... Wasn't the gamespot news what gamespy was going to reveal? Anyhoo, I hope the huge announcement (if there is one) is that they're releasing Queen and Tool packs, with full album discography downloads!

I actually have a feeling their announcement will either be tomorrow or Monday, and that it will reveal what big band the MTV Battle of the Bands winners will get to open for at the Rock Band launch concert. But that's just a complete guess.

Yeah, I'm guessing it's some marketing / promotional announcement, not some massive new surprising and awesome game feature. There's practically nothing left to KNOW about the game that we don't already know. They've already promoted it based on all its features, so having something huge waiting in the wings is not likely.

I guess it could be some major album as DLC, but not singles or packs, since those are already charted out for two months.

Magnet, given how you mysteriously knew exactly what the blog screenshot of Phase was a week or so back; I'm putting my money on what you just said there.

Given that, I can now safely ignore any "exclusive news" Gamespy may have won as finding out who is playing at the launch concert doesn't catch more than a passing interest.

I dunno, but since people already have the final version of the bundle and it doesn't come with double bass pedals (surprise, surprise :rolleyes: ), they must have it set up to play double bass notes with one pedal.

its probably going to have half the bass pedal notes wherever the double bass is used


give up the double bass pedal idea.

something like the option of bass/rhythm is a better idea than that.

just play the bass drum faster - it's the same damn tone. There's tons of metal drummers that play plenty fast without a double bass. It is never ever ever ever going to happen that they release a freaking double bass pedal - just give it up.

Actually what would be great news is if they announced:

I think I would prefer that announcement to anything else.
