All right, so basically, my 360 decided to eat up my disc, just a little, a while ago.

If you can't tell from the picture (Which you probably can't, the reflecting and stuff makes it suck) there's a weird white scratch around on about half of the inner edge of the CD where the Xbox 360 logo is.

This happened almost 4 months ago, and while it caused my 360 to occasionally decide to think it was a movie (I would have to mash the CD tray button a lot to get it to read. Sometimes I spent about to 30 minutes on it. :( ) it was all tolerable. Now, with the new patch, it suddenly has become an unreadable disc entirely. It won't even give me an error message like it did before.

This utterly sucks because of Rock Band 2 coming out in less than 8 days, yet now I'll be unable to port over the 55 songs from Rock Band.

Anyone know if I'll be able to exchange the CD through the Rock Band warranty? I would think so, but I'm not sure. The EA site says it's only 90 days but it also says other warranties override it.

I have the same problem with my disc... I ended up borrowing a friends disc to export all the songs and now i'm just waiting it out till rock band 2. I'd recommend either borrowing someone's disc that does function correctly and export your songs from there OR rent the disc from your local blockbuster and going from there

Yes it is an N64 with Guantlet Legend. It is an awesome game. :D

And I got it to work, eventually. It took me a good hour of mashing the button, pulling the CD out, spinning it into various positions... Yeah. So now I'm just trying to beat Run to the Hills on the drums before it dies again. I already extracted all my songs.

Still don't know if it's covered by warranty though
