As a late, late, late birthday gift (or early Christmas your pick) I'm giving in and getting GHIII tommorow. Hey it's free!
I have an X-Plorer but to make co-op easier for the little bro I may snag a bundle. Hearing all the crap towards LPs should I just get the game and save myself the frustration/wasted gift oppurtunity or go for it, get a bundle, and pray the Les Paul works?

I say spring for the bundle. That way you can have two guitars for RB and GH both......I have had no problems with my LP and I love it. I think I might sell the strat because I don't like it very much from the demo setup but Ill give it a chance and see how it goes.

Despite the totally cock-up design flaws with the detachable neck, the Les Paul guitar is a dramatic improvement over the Xplorer.
Since the game is $60 by itself, the extra $40 for a really good guitar was worth it for me.

I haven't had problems with my LP (and it is a HUGE improvement over the Xplorer)

Wait I thought bundles were $90?
Hot damn! In that case there's really a slim chance I'll get a bundle anyway but I'm still open to advice. Anything can happen.

It's definitely a solid guitar for 40 dollars.
I had one of the extremely buggy PS3 guitars but after a day or so of working out the kinks its a pretty good guitar.

It's 90 for PS2 and 100 for 360..
ps. just give in, you want the bundle.

I thought the Les Paul was nice (once I spent half an hour meticulously cleaning it to get it to work in the first place) but despite never having the neck taken off since it was initially put on, the frets are starting to bugger up again. It's crap.
