I am not talking about practicing the songs I mean just bang the $hit out of the durms and play them as much as you want with no limit to what you can do. Basically your own drum set with out playing in the rules of the game. If their is no option I hope they can make it a downloadable one.

Like I said, plug the drums into your PC. Get a program that will assign buttons to sounds, and you're set.

Just keep it unplugged and bang on them. You'll get tons of practice that way. ;)
It's the same.

As I recall, before a song starts, you can whale away on the set and it will play drum sounds for each pad.
So.... just find a song with a long wait/pause at the beginning on drums.
Plus, I think you can take any of the instruments into a GH2 style practice mode, maybe some potential to use that somehow to get what you're looking for.

Hmmm.... Do you think you could do a song that doesn't have any drums in it and just play the part that doesn't have the drums over and over and be able to just beat away?

This is what I loved about the star power in the drums. The window lets you go crazy and I want somthing that is only that, but if I can find a computer program that would be cool.

I thought there was a Drum Practice mode and a Guitar and Vocal Practice mode.
I think its called Solo Tour.

I couldn't agree more, this would be a great option. I would even pay like $10 if they can make this an option that is downloadable via Xbox Live Marketplace.
For those that say: "go buy an electronic drum set"...sorry I just spent $200 (with the Best Buy Replacement plan) on Rock Band and I don't want to spend another $200+ on just drums. Get over yourselves!

but see.. this is a video game. not a drum machine or a drum set meant for you to play notes.
sorry, try being creative. what you want is worth more than this game's software was created to do. (computer program + assigning sounds = too much work for the whiny non-thinker, so they want to whine on forums for devs to put something in that wasnt meant to be in the game)
dont you think *if its so cool* that harmonix would have thought to put it in if they wanted?
keep fighting for it, because many people are like you, and fewer are like me.
