So I'm a big Kevin Smith/ VA fan, and I found a couple pics on the VA forums. I thought this one was interesting, so I thought I'd share it with you. Enjoy

That actually came out in a magazine some time back. I don't remember which one.

It's amazing to see how much the drums changed from only a few months ago when that was published.

And yes, Kevin Smith rocks!

Well it says that is an artist's rendition- so do we know for sure that a set exactly like that actually existed? It seems close enough to the current set that an artist could have heard a description of basically the set we have now and created the rendition of it in that magazine.

it was from a game informer, i think the one with COD4 on the cover.... back in like July or that area. the article read, if i recall correctly, that they had an artist draw it up from memory of the unit that they were playing at Harmonix, and subject to change.

yep. GI went to their offices and although couldn't (or didn't, or whatever) take pics, drew this up from memory for the article. It never actually existed in this state.
