I Can't Believe Guitar Hero 4 Got The Mars Volta And At The Drive In.

I am so pissed because Guitar Hero 4 got The Mars Volta and At the Drive In. HMX needs to get some of their songs. Im not saying that HMX should release all The Mars Volta songs, but should at least put one or two songs. I like some of the variety HMX brings. Locksley was a pleasant surprise. Enough with Rush songs and all that heavy metal. They Should keep it fresh and have a nice sample of all the rock genres.

I definitely want TMV and ATDI in rock band. I wasn't going to buy gh4 until i heard L'via L'viaquez would be in it. I'm probably going to be pissed off at it's note chart so I really hope HMX releases something.

I honestly expect a lot more of GH's tracks to be in the pipeline for HMX and NOT as a fight against GH... they probably didn't even know GH had the songs

TMV's in GH now? I've been listening to them for the past 7 hours. >_>;; The whole time I was like "lol drums." They've got about 3 reasonable songs for drums out of their whole discography.

The fact that L'Via has about... 5 minutes of what would be considered "noise" makes me think that they'd cut out some of the song, and with them doing that, I'd definitely be annoyed.

We've been getting a lot of metal lately, but Rock Band has gotten a very nice mix of style since it's launch. Who's to say we don't see The Mars Volta later on?

Besides, being upset we don't have The Mars Volta is a little like being upset we don't have Portugal the Man or Minus the Bear on Rock Band. Indie bands get what they can get.

Of course, Harmonix did that with My Generation, but that had a different song spliced into it, so I think that's fine.

But yeah, I'm pretty content with it. Especially the ATDI. I like TMV a lot more than ATDI. And L'Via, as awesome of a song as that is, horrible choice for a rhythm game. I hate the radio version, so, you know, GH:WT can suck it so far.

Hell, even for Tool *points at sig* Vicarious is the only song I would of picked in a three pack out of the ones they got. And that's if I was going to put 3 songs by one artist on disc.

I'm still pretty damn happy with Let There Be Rock, Pump It Up, Bodhisattva, and the rest of the RB2 setlist myself.
