So I was reading one of the latest threads and it was talking about one song you wouldnt necessarily care to have on Rock Band but would still be fun. My answer is Fall Out Boy by far. Not only am I posting this cuz I think that most ppl don't give their music credit and almost everyone that is "Made" to play Dead on Arrival is like "ugh", but think about it, you are more saying that because it is a challenging song that makes your forearm burn. So this is my declaration not only for wife to be able to play more, but for more underestimated bands that are "too mainstream" or pop-punk, NOT EMO!

No thanks, I prefer that good bands be in the game, not POS sellouts, but that's just me.

No Fallout Boy..how about Cake, they're about 100x better than Fall Out Boy could ever hope to be.

I like Cake too but id rather have a challenge when I sing not a monotone loser, seriously how much skill does it take to talk into a mic? My 1 year old son could probably babble a cake song

It takes more skill to sing like Patrick, the lead singer, than it takes yet again using my son as an example, to scream for a bottle along with any death metal song on rock band

But OP, I know they kind of deserved it but normally when suggesting one band you don't want to start making fun of other bands because it's just gonna get the other person upset and make them resent the band you are suggesting even more.

It takes ALOT of skill to sing a death metal song(in real life, it's different in the game though), and it undoubtedly takes more skill to play the instruments than a fall out boy song.

plus, there's already fall out boy songs, we've got one song for the entire genre of death metal(not even a good one, in my opinion).

Not to mention that hey I figure hey we are all civil ppl, haha, but I try to look at every song as how fun it could be on Rock Band, there are plently of good bands no matter what genre they are in and your thoughts as well as mine are just that, only ours, so you like more metal as where Id prefer any band like Avenged Sevenfold that challenges everyone in the band.

True, I did get carried away however I feel that most ppl often look past what the post is about when they see a topic like FOB. They jump the gun and automatically bash the band and not the idea behind having a band and it being a great contribuition to rock band whether its a fav or not. I feel u both could agree, I like the harder metal songs cuz they are challenging but not everyone is into that just like they arent into fall out boy maybe my post title should be insert band here.

No Fall Out Boy please!!! I thought I still liked Fall Out Boy and I bought This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race. I was wrong. What was I thinking Fall Out Boy sucks. I guess I had no taste when I was younger. I also regret getting that Trapt song thinking it would be like Headstrong (a song I loved when it first came out) but I guess I've grown out of Trapt and Fall Out Boy.

This Aint a Scene... is a catchy song for the most part but Dead on Arrival is horrid, beyond horrid. (and no, it doesnt make my forearms even twinge, let alone burn)

It would hurt my pride to buy anything Fall Out Boy, period.

I personally think Lars Ulrich is one of the biggest douchebags in the world, but Metallica still makes awesome music.

But to each his own, I suppose.

Fall Out Boy would be all right, I'd probably buy it if it was a decent song.
