Microphone quality?

I haven't noticed anything on the quality of the microphone. Is it like the cheap plastic ones that came with Karaoke Revolution, or is it the heavy sturdy ones that come with Singstar? I hope they are like the Singstar ones becuase those are durable quality mics. If I (and by that I mean my wife) is beating on the mic like a cowbell (I got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell!!! How many people are going to recreate that skit?), I don't want the thing falling apart in my hand.

They remind me of the Singstar mics. Not quite as hefty as an SM58, or similar professional mic, but you can tell it's not a toy.
