*Thumbs through Music collection* I want this *picks album* and this *another one* and this *another one*
Haha, but seriously, here are songs that my friend and I thought would be a great lot of fun to play, so here is my list of songs that I would love to see in Rock Band (Warning! Some of them you may have seen before in other guitar rhythm games, but sue me! They are great songs and I feel like the added dynamics that Rock Band has would make them great additions anyway!)
So, in no particular order:
Things with *** next to them are tops in my list even though they aren't at the top

Foo Fighters
Monkey Wrench
Up In Arms *** This I believe is a less known song on The Colour and the Shape, but it's a perfect song for Rock Band, it's so much fun
My Hero
Everlong *** An amazing song through and through
All My Life *** So much fun to sing, play, etc... I WANT!
Times Like These *** Just a great song

Fountains of Wayne
Stacy's Mom Who can honestly say they wouldn't love playing this song with friends?

Gogol Bordello
Zina-Marina
Wonderlust King
Harem in Tuscany (Taranta)
American Wedding

There are so many more Gogol Bordello songs that I would love to see, but most of them feature violin or accordion as the main instrument instead of Guitar, and while I don't have a problem some people might. Oh well, I would love to see some stuff by them. Some stuff of Gypsy Punk too (the above songs are from Super Taranta!) like Sally, Start Wearing Purple, etc...

Goldfinger
99 Red Balloons *** I challenge you not to want to play this song in Rock Band, I challenge you!

Goo Goo Dolls
Slide *** Amazing song, I would love to see it
Broadway
Black Balloon
Iris

Green Day
Dookie, the Album ***
American Idiot, the Album ***
Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) ***

Both of these albums are amazing and I would absolutely pay for the full albums and play through each and every song on them, I can't think of one single bad song in either. Dookie is an amazing blast of an album, and would be SO much fun to play in Rock Band. American Idiot same deal, especially when taken as a whole. I want! :p

Harvey Danger
Flagpole Sitta *** Such a fun song, I would love to see it

Incubus
A Crow Left Of The Murder
Talk Show on Mute
Made For TV Movie
Anna Molly
Stellar
Drive
Pardon Me

Jimi Hendrix Experience
All Along the Watchtower ***

Led Zeppelin
Stairway to Heaven A little iffy about this song. It's not great for the band for most of the song, and I know it's fun to play on guitar but don't know how much so on a guitar sim like Rock Band. It's very much backloaded like Freebird, but oh well
Kashmire

Linkin Park
Hybrid Theory, the Album *** A great album where I would just love to see

Matchbook Romance
Monsters *** I know it's in Guitar Hero 3, but it's such an amazing song that I would love to see it in Rock Band, plus the Drum and Bass part are amazing fun, and the lyrics are fun, the song's upbeat, it's an all around package!

Mission Failed
Hello Beautiful
Science Fiction Matinee ***
Silence ***

Mission Failed is a "local" band by me that are amazing. A few of their songs are on the iTunes store, and Science Fiction Matinee is in all honesty one of the best, most original songs I've heard. If it is even remotely possible to get this song into the game it would be amazing.

The Offspring
Come Out And Play ***
Self-Esteem
Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)

Lustra
Scotty Doesn't Know *** Just like 99 Red Balloons, I challenge you not to want to play this song

Queen
I'm going to preface this by saying there are whole lot of Queen songs that are great, but I'm only going to point out one that I've wanted to play for a long time. It's backloaded, but SO much fun, everyone would enjoy!
Bohemian Rhapsody *** I don't know how you would do it with the Piano at the beginning (make guitar play piano?) but it's a song I want to play!

Reel Big Fish
Sell Out ***
Beer ***
Both of these songs are so much fun, that's all I can really say

Smashing Pumpkins
1979 *** It's a great song, it's not super-agressive, and I believe that it would be great to just sit down and "jam" to with a friend or two

Squeeze
Pulling Mussels From A Shell

Steriogram
Walkie Talkie Man *** So much fun! Such a great Rock Band song!
Tsunami

Sugarcult
Los Angeles

Third Eye Blind
Third Eye Blind, the Album ***

TEB's self-titled is, in my opinion, the quintessential 90s alt-rock album and it contains just so many great songs that I would love to see the whole thing up for DLC

Arctic Monkeys
Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor

Finger Eleven
Paralyzer

Sum 41
Fat Lip

Dire Straits
Sultans of Swing ***

Okay, you know what? I'm only half-way done with my music collection at this point, so I'm just not gonna go on (unless people feel like I've got a good list of stuff here, then I willl)
