In my Intro To Poetry class we got a fun assignment!
Transcribe the lyrics of a popular song you like. What formal devices do you find? (Meter, rhyme, etc.?) Describe and explain in a paragraph.
Of course, I chose 21st Century Schizoid Man (Including Mirrors) for my song.

looking at the stressed points (/) I can tell that there is a lot of emphasis on powerful words! and how poetic it really sounds too!!!
