That's pretty cool. I wonder how much it costs?

Neat. Does it just make sounds or is it for a certain purpose? I'm too lazy to watch the beginning again... I was distracted the first time :D

Nice. It spins, plays music and has multi-color LEDS, AND IT COSTS $2,999.
(I don't know if it actually costs that but I'm sure it's gonna be ridiculously expensive for a toy)

Not gonna lie, it looks kind of dumb... no practical use it seems.

How much memory does it have, and how much memory does the motion software take up? That thing is pretty damn epic.

I dont know the specs, but i have to say that it is pretty friggin cool. I would record a bunch of R2D2 sounds and just let it go all hog wild...

LMAO.
I don't know if my engineering background showing through, but this thing is freaking sweet. Then again, it might just be based on how long they spent programming those routines. It all really depends on how automated the software is. If you have lay out the routines step by step for it to do anything cool, then it's kinda lame. But if the software is advanced enough to do sweet stuff on its own, hell yeah.

Unless I can program it to get a part-time job to to help cover part of the mortgage, it's probably a no-go for me. ;)
Hmm...I'm not sure what the point is unless you do a load of drugs first.

Are you guys serious? I'm a huge Sony fan and usually fall hard for anything that flashes or lights up but even I thought this was pretty lame. I saw this on the Sony site a few weeks back and was sure this would soon appear on one of those 'motivational posters' alongside the DVD rewinder.
Plus, I think Rolly's footwork is not clean and its popping ranges from uninspired to awkward. And it got served by Omarion.

... a robot that when it evolves, and wants to kill us for enslaving it, can breakdance while it slaughters the villagers.
Thanks, SONY!
