Is Gamestop really that bad for Rock Band?

I have my bundle pre-ordered at Gamestop and I haven't had any problems. Mine is having a midnight launch and when I read an article that many corporates were making them stop at stores mine is still having one. When I heard about shortages I double-checked continuously and asked today with the manager saying "We received all our bundles yesterday, we have enough to fulfill all pre-orders but nothing more" so that comforted me.

I don't understand why some Gamestops are extending the street date, maybe they haven't received all their shipments to be fair to all? In the end I'm sure most of you are mostly paranoid but for some it may be an issue depending on your area. I haven't had a single problem pre-ordering mine, and I even cancelled my original pre-order 9 days ago to get it at a different Gamestop.

I've preordered games at Gamestop and Gamecrazy many times and never once had any issues with any pre-ordered stuff ever. I've been doing it for probably around 10 years when they were still Funcoland.

Just thought Id add - I just called my GameStop (Syracuse, NY) and he said no midnight launch but that I'd have my copy at 10AM Tuesday.

I asked, JUST TO BE SURE, that I would have a copy.

He said that Im lucky I preordered, because theyre totally sold out COMPANY WIDE.

I asked "So I have a recipt, Im set?"

and he said we have all our bundles confirmed, you're 100% set.

I heard most Gamestops have got the bundles in already, and I keep calling mine to see if they got them in so I can stop worrying about it, but they still act like they haven't gotten them. They promise me that as long as I have a reservation I'll be fine, but they also mentioned that if they aren't in the day of launch it'll be shortly after! I'll go completly insane if it's not there on launch day! It's already driving me nuts, another couple days would hurt...it would hurt bad!
