Sorry if this has been posted before but..


What about cover songs(GOOD ONES) by other artists/bands... like
311-Love Song(Originally of The Cure)
Rufio-Don't You Forget About Me(Simple Minds if I recall right)
Nirvana-The Man Who Sold The World(David Bowie)
The Killers-Shadowplay(Joy Division)orRuby Don't Take Your Love To Town(Kenny rogers if I'm not mistaken)
Queen-Crazy Little Thing Called Love(Elvis Presley)
Alien Ant Farm-Smooth Criminal(Michael Jackson)
Metallica-Whiskey In The Jar

or Post Any Other Songs like these that you know off...or if you think this is a good idea

Vampire Weekend's cover of Exit Music(Radiohead) is quite good.

Generally, I would prefer the original artist; although if Masters were unavailable, really well done covers (like the Killers cover of Shadowplay) would be suitable substitutes.

Vampire Weekend did a cover of Exit music?!!?:eek: How come I didn't knwo about this?!?!:eek:

It's really good.... though I still prefer Radiohead's version(who wouldn't):D nothing can beat Thom's Vocals :)

Well, of course. Which is why (and I think this applies to most every band), if we are going to feature a song in Rock Band, it should be the original (or at least a version created by the band who made the original if they have to remaster it or something).

True.... but still.. I prefer songs like Love song-311 & Metallica's Whiskey In The Jar over the originals:rolleyes:
