We all know that the PS3 guitar is wireless, but I was wondering how it charged. Im hoping it doesnt take batteries, I cant see why it would. Does it come with a charging USB cable? I have 3 charging cables for my normal PS3 controllers, but they all are pretty short. When I play guitar hero or in this case rock band, I like to get some distance from my TV. So does anyone know?

Nope, it gets its power from pure, unadulterated rawk! It needs no electricity.

Oh ok... I just hoped I wouldnt be needing to grab batteries every other week... Didnt wanna be in a middle of a song and then "Control 1 Disconnected" I really hate it when that happens when im playin on my friends xbox360. Oh well.... I guess.

It won't happen. The PS2 wireless guitars for GH2 didn't need battery changes as often as you'd think. Just buy a set of 4 rechargable batteries and a charger, keep a pair in the guitar and a pair fully charged. Switch out when needed.

If it's anything like the Les Paul guitar for Guitar Hero 3 you won't need battery replacement nearly as often as you think.
If you don't touch the guitar for 5 minutes, it automatically shuts off saving your batteries. It's a good feature that I hope the Strat has.

If that's the case, buy 2 packs of 4 AA batteries, and keep 3 on the charger at all times.
