Did we know.... Live headset works for vocals

Well i didnt want to play without the pack on tuesday, but i had to try. Live headset works. It feels wrong so i stopped after trying one song, Say it aint So from Weezer. It was a rush playing, but like i said it does in fact work.

honestly i cant compare it to the USB mic until tuesday when we all can, but i can say, it really wasnt off or seem bad at all. then again i do not have the pipes to dare try past medium, which is no doubt where the better fidelity mic that comes with the pack will shine. im a croaker and i hit 86% on medium. and never really notiecd the arrow not moving when i was belting out off pitch yelps.

100% known. Not the best quality mic but WE GET TO ROCK!!!

Head set quality is kinda crap. I tried 2 different ones and they both popped and distorted every so often. Only happened 3-4 times a song but it happened to be sure. That and playing cowbell on that thing sucks. Mic is better quality sound hands down.

How does this work, my friend has the game and is coming over today but its not the pack its just the game. do u just use the headset plugged into a controller?

I'm probably going to use my wireless headset while playing the guitar. Vocals on medium and guitar on hard first time I do BWT alone. I'm in no rush to buy a mic stand. I don't know what I'll do when it wants me to tap the mic in those sections of the singing though.

Okay, clarification time:

The Xbox Live Headset DOES work with Rock band. But the quality is much less. The Rock Band Microphone will just plug into your 360 Controller, just like the Live Headset. The Microphone can handle much louder voices, because hey, you want to get excited while singing, right? The Headset has much less quality than the Microphone. But then again, do you REALLY want to look like Britney Spears? ;) :D
