yes yes, i know other GH guitars work with Rock Band. but i haven't used any of the GH guitars, I need help choosing which one to get for the 2nd guitar.

So what's your favourite GH (or 3rd party) guitar and why? and which are wireless? (and does wireless really matter?)

The Les Paul is the best and its wireless. Hopefully you find a fully functioning one on your first try.

"Fully functioning"?? has there been issues?

At least at launch with the GH3 bundle, yes. There have been many threads about messed up LPs in the general forum. Flip back a few pages and you will find them. But if you do get a good one, man its a great guitar (controller).
