so i herd that the new stock drum set that comes with rock band 2 you can add up to i think 3 cymbals and like an extra foot pedal

any1 know if can use those on the old drum set??

no because of the ports on the current drum set

I thought it was only the premium drum set from Ion (http://www.drumrocker.com) that allowed you to add cymbals (I think it comes with two and you can add an additional one).

I think it's also the only one that comes with one foot pedal but allows you to add a second.

Anyone have pics of the stock RB2 drum kit with any available addons attached?

The Rock Band 2 stock drum set has ports in the back of it (where the bass pedal connects) for three cymbals and a second bass pedal. Here is a photo attached.
