Am I the only one that want to play Bruce Springsteen songs?

Sure there are piano and saxophone in lots of his songs but I would like to play songs like:

Because the Night (love Nils Lofgren's solo)

Working on the Highway
Badlands
Candy's Room
Darkness on the Edge of Town

Girls In Their Summer Clothes

Sure, they would be shockingly easy but it would feel so good just playing them. A game doesn't just have to be challenging to enjoy it, if you know what I mean?

I'm Jersey born and raised, but I never really got into Bruce. I'm just not a fan of his folksy, Heartland rock.

Man Born in the USA would be a terribel full album DLC...it's too synthy on the drums. You'd be better with something like The Rising or The River or Born to Run. If they're gonna do a pack I'd like to see the following included (that weren't mentioned above):

You Can Look But You Better Not Touch
My Love Will Not Let You Down
Because the Night (with Nils *****ing live solo included)
Murder Incorporated
The Promised Land
So Young and in Love
The River (for the vocal mainly)

And probably a whole host of others...There's too many to think of. I just don't see big Bruce ever letting his catalogue of work be used for a video game. He's hesitent to even let outlets such as American Idol etc use his tunes. Which is a shame.

On a Springsteen related note Max and Bruce are possibley two of the easiest characters to create in RB1. I've got a 70's Garry Tallent on the go (circa The Wild, The Innocent), but you whip the beard off him and it doesn't really work:)

That's actually very true. I was quite surprised to see Tangled Up in Blue. Guns n Roses not so much cos dude would do anything to be down with the kids, lol.

We can live in hope. Clearly the guys at Harmonix are Springsteen fans judging by some of the clothing items in RB1...so here's hoping they're harrassing him into giving over some tunage.

it makes perfect sense....why doesn't it make sense. Little steven was in the band, he helps decide what songs should get licensed....there is no reason why we SHOULDNT see Bruce in the future.

I think there was an article a while back saying that for some bands, there would be expansion packs released (like new discs), and I think that LS mentioned that his buddy bruce might be someone THEY WOULD CONSIDER for this option.

Dont ask me to find a link, i have no idea where it would be. I think it was in Rolling Stone or Spin or something.

True enough for the album version, there are tons of boots out there (especially from the 77-79 era) that have huge jams running alongside the solo that would work great in Rockband. I would hope that at least one of those show had afull recording..

My theory is that Bruce is hesitant to release his music to a game (he seems to be hesitant to release his music in general). I'm hoping that with Dylan on RB2, Bruce sees that its OK to put his music out.

Then I hope that Harmonix releases the full Nebraska album so I can play it while drunk
