I just put my 360 in a different room, and when I turned it on I had to reconnect the controller, but it wasnt reconnecting,so then it gave one red light in the bottom right.(ONly ONE red light). Is this just one of those things like it gives 4 red lights if one of the cables int plugged in or something? Or is it something I should worry about? And its playing fine now,and the controller is working.

It gave one f those SYSTEM ERROR messages, with all the different languages. ]

In other words,IS this going to persist,or was this just caused because the Controller failed to Connect?

Just make sure all cables are plugged in snug and the tv cables are in the right spots. It just looks like something is loose.

O-ring=cable
C-ring=death

But I have never heard of or seen just one light.

uh-oh

You see the lower-right quadrant of the Ring of Light flash red on the front of the Xbox 360 console. You receive the following Error Message in multiple languages:
System Error. Contact Xbox Customer Support.
If one red light flashes and you do not receive an error message, this may indicate a different problem. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

CAUSE
This behavior occurs when the Xbox 360 console experiences a hardware failure.

1. Turn off the console, disconnect and reconnect all cables, then turn the console back again.
2. If an Xbox Hard Disk Drive is attached to the console, turn off the console, and then remove the Hard Disk. Turn on the console and test for the error. If the error does not reoccur, turn off the console and reattach the Hard Disk. Alternate testing with the hard drive connected and removed to see if the error occurs only while the hard drive is attached. For more information if the on-screen alpha-numeric error is E67, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
917874 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917874/) Xbox 360: One red light flashes on the Ring of Light, and you receive error E67
3. If an Xbox Memory Unit (MU) is plugged in to the console, turn off the console, and then remove the Memory Unit. Turn on the console again and test for the error. If the error does not reoccur, turn off the console and reinsert the MU. Alternate testing with the MU inserted and removed to see if the error occurs only while the MU is inserted.
4. If you continue to experience this behavior, contact Xbox Customer Service.

so pretty much the same as the Ring of Death, it just isn't as common. I believe my buddy had this problem, and it was solved by taking out the hard drive. He went out and bought a memory card, which he uses for save games (offline stuff mostly) and can still use the hard drive if he wants to play online(which is required).

yea, one red light usually has something to do with with the hard drive. Usually that its not snapped in perfectly, so try that.

Ive had that happen to me a couple of times because I usually bring my hard drive into work so i can play my games, and sometimes I get careless when I attach it.

I think I got that once because not all the cabling was securely plugged in.
