Listening to it right now on their site http://www.metallica.com/index.asp?item=601231 as they have put all the songs from "Death Magnetic" up for everyone to listen to free of charge before purchasing the Album...

Also, I love the Album. It would be perfect for Rock Band Nation but do not put any faith into Rock Band getting us any more Metallica. We have already lost the single 'unless it comes out tomorow' and suprises us all.

Harmonix stated that we would get songs from Metallica spanning their entire career...?

That really isn't spanning Metallica's career's as they have missed the beginning 'Kill' and the current 'Death' which would be really important points when saying you are gonna get songs spanning a bands entire career...

What little hope I have is this, if we don't see more Metallica when Guitar Hero: Metallica comes out then we will not see anymore. It will offically become The Day That Never Comes...

I wouldn't hold your breath though, Metallica seems to be pretty enamoured with the money that the GH guy's are throwing at them.

if they do deside this as an album i wonder how they are going to do the insturmental? its not like they can combined 2 songs together it would be the longest song ever... it does sadden me tho that "The Day That Never Comes" was "reserved the right" for it to be in RB but has not been officaily confirmed or denied that it will still be in the game... just saddens me :(

between GH: Metallica, the album being DLC on GHWT, and the current tracks out on RB1 and GHIII, I have my fill, as much as I love old Metallica. I'm hoping HMX goes in a different direction with the DLC, I don't want to see the same tracks across both games.

I want to see songs from every album, and I do mean Every album. These guys are legends, and deserve to have tons of DLC, I think. I want to see a Discography set released, that way people who want all the songs can get them, and people can pick and choose their own favorites. I'd be one of the (probably) few that would buy the whole discography, so that might be why I want one.

i still haven't finished the album yet. just got done with Unforgiven III. which so far, its AWESOME.

The Unforgiven III and All Nightmare long are awesome. I also really like Cynade, The Day that Never comes, Judas Kiss and My Apocalypse. That whole album is Amazing. I was thinking that St. Anger and Frantic should also be fun to play, they are both challenging songs.

I'd be Ok with seeing a Metqallica album in Rock Band (Not that I'd actually buy any of it, but it would make a hellovalotta people very happpy) but i really wanna see less metal and more various other ROCK (not rap and that stuff) genres
