ok, so tihs morning i was going to walmart to play the rock band demo right. well, once i got to the demo kiosk rock band was not there. thats not the best part. i went to go ask one of the electronic lady at the encounter what happened to it she said, "THEY STOLE IT, THE DRUMS THE GUITAR,PS3, EVERYTHING." I was like huh? I was spechless. now im kinda :( and :mad:.thats pretty much it. So now when i go pick up my copy of the bundle for the 360 im going to have a deathgrip on that thing.

I used to work in retail and let me tell you thats very possible, thieves are crafty and know the stores policys in regards to shoplifting very well, add in the fact that they put the demo stations out of the way of normal store traffic and with a resonable easy shot to the door, I would think it would be very possible

Yeah, it may only be 15 demo songs, but maybe they have the real game on pre-order and just wanted to have two of all the peripherals (only to get home with the stolen goods to remember there's no bass pedal for the drum kit:D).

More of a punishment than an incentive, IMO. lol. Now don't go and start any fan-boy war, anyone, please. I'm not against the Sony, almost all of my audio technology and TVs are Sony, just the PS3 is severely over-priced for me at the time being.

how do you figure you throw in the hd player (can you say beta max) then you need a dvd remote and your rite up there with the ps3 price plus the ps3 does a whole lot of things that the x box 360 cant do. so apples to apples the ps3 is better bang for buck. xbox just has better librairy witch if you remember was horrible for almost ayear and a half after its release

its ok brother i fuaght buying by ps3 for awhile to but i'm glad i did.

umm...the hd-dvd player for the xbox360 comes with a remote...so take that off your list of things you need to buy for it.

And the ones it does, are multi-platform and run smoother on the 360.

I really don't get how people can say that the ps3 is over priced... Its got wireless controllers out of the box and you don't need to to pay extra for a chargeable pack. The ps3 has blu-ray, and yes that can be counted as a feature the 360 doesnt have, HDDVD doesnt have as much memory. And the online is free, I know its not the best but its free and i share my ps3 with 3 other people so if i had an xbox i would need 4 live accounts. HOW could anyone call the ps3 an oven when the 360 is known for overheating and malfunctioning. My friend has a 360 and he just sent it in his 2nd time in a year because the video wouldnt show on his TV, and no it wasnt a faulty cord... He tried a new cord and it didnt work. Im not bashing the 360 cuz i think they're bad ass, but why do you need to bash the ps3?

I typed this whole thing on my iPhone, that's bad ass too. :D

I have a MAJOR issue with mine.

Every time someone opens the door to the room that has my XBox in it, I get the three rings. How ****ing stupid is that?

But I've played the PS3, and I've come to the conclusion that XBox 360's are better and PS3's cost way too much. Mines just a piece of ****.

Hot damn, you're ignorant. It's overpriced, but definitely has good games out. The fact that most of those games are multiplatform does not detract from the fact that they're good, and, in addition, since Gamespot disagrees with you and says that the cross-platform games run equally well on both consoles, I'm gonna have to go ahead and believe those guys.

Heavenly Sword is also a fscking amazing game, although it's short. Lots of people also enjoy Warhawk, Motorstorm, and Resistance. There are valid reasons to bash the PS3, notably price, but games ISN'T ONE OF THEM ANY MORE.

I bought my 360 about a month after it first came out and I have yet to see any red rings...

But enough fuel for the fire.

I'd like to know how someone made it out of wal-mart with all that equipment! Methinks it was either Ocean and his men or some Olympic sprinters. lol :P
