Dinkin-flicka. I'm so pissed right now cuz the two setlists have left me trying to choose between loyalty to Rock Band (which I think is a better game all-around) and GHWT (which has a definitively better setlist). Three Tool songs. Death Magnetic. Muse-Assassin. The Mars Volta. 311.

It makes me ill to think of the choice I've got to make now.

It's the Muse that really got to me. HMX knows we want Muse, and one song's not gonna cut it.

I'm having a similar dilema here. I am a Rockband fan, but Guitar Hero:WT has TOOL (and not only one but 3 Awesome songs). They also have Death Magnetic and 3 extra Smashing Pumpkins songs. On top of that they have experimented with Spanish rock in GH 3 (which included my favorite Spanish band ever, Heroes del Silencio). I already sold all my original Rockband stuff, because I wanted to buy the new bundle, but after the TOOL news and Guitar Hero's willingness to try new things, I'm have second thoughts about RockBand 2. This will be a hard decision, I hope HMX/MTV work something out with TOOL and becomes more open-minded about expanding their musical limits.

I know I'm the the only one who wants this, I'm hearing this from a lot of people, but unfortunately these forums flood a lot of opinions.

Ya the only reason I am considering Guitar hero is the tool venue with 3 songs, that is mint. I am still getting Rock Band 2 though, I just think the charts are superior.

just buy em both, thats what im doing. albeit ill be closing my eyes as im handing over cash for the bundle. plus you get an extra guitar that actually clicks outta the deal. and differnt gameplay. trust me if it was only a rock band world you would hate it. if GH didnt exist rock band 5 would probably be rock band 2.

btw the tool venue looks like ass no need to fret over that one. but theres some other killer **** in GHWT. it seems like the songs are either great or terrible, whereas RB has mostly all great songs and a couple of ****ty ones(ie cool for cats, and i dont think psycho killer is going to be fun on anything but vox, a good song none the less)
