Idea for the gamespy announcement

My prediction for the announcement is that there will be Rock Band for the Wii. If they have it for the PS2 why not the Wii? Just my thoughts though...

We don't know yet. Gamespy is supposed to have a big annoucement, since they won the Battle of the Bands last week. Everything thought it would be DLC, but Gamespot announced that, so we're still waiting on what Gamespy is going to announce.

I highly doubt a Wii version is hitting anytime. The online structure just doesn't seem to be there, and I don't think they want to release a gimped version like the PS2's on a next gen system. As much as it would be cool to have Rock Band on the Wii, I wouldn't buy one if there was no way to get DLC.

Don't forget that there's still the release dates for the full albums, which metallica album is going to be available as DLC, and the release on the greatful dead songs. I could easily see the big announcement dealing with any of these.

...Although personally I'm hoping for a Tool and Queen DLC announcement. (or a patch to take Fallout boy out of the game).

I don't think release dates for DLC counts as a big announcement considering a majority of it has already been dated.

If they're even still announcing something, I'd expect it to be some new DLC. Announcing online BWT seems unlikely, as it was announced a while ago that the winner of the BoTB would get an exclusive announcement, and I don't think they knew when an online BWT patch would be ready.

IGN confirmed online Band World Tour coming in a patch.

What else is there that is much more important?

I'm guessing it'll be about that mysterious BWT endless setlist thing. I bet it's a T-shirt that says " I beat the endless setlist and all I got was this louzy shirt" That'd be pretty funny :D They did that with GTA Vice City (If you got 100%)
