GameStop/EB confirmed Midnight Launch Locations

As the title states, if your GS/EB is having a midnight release, put your location down.

I am pumped that they are having a midnight release! I didn't think they would, but I called today, and indeed they are. Apparently the stores were being notified after 5pm yesterday if they were doing a midnight or not, so if you haven't called yours already, you probably should. :)

I just called mine and apparently they aren't. Oddly enough, I pre-ordered mine at the Logan Valley Mall EB's in Altoona, which is pretty damn close to you.

Hello fellow Altoonan! I am originally from there, but live in State College now. Apparently the college kids here have lots of money, and there must be a lot of pre-orders. They manager said they stopped taking pre-orders a LONG time ago . These kids are CRAZY! I want to see how more than 20 people are going to fit in a little bitty GS.

I was going to try and con them, asking them if they were doing a Mass Effect launch and just show up and say, "Ohay, I'm hur for Rawk Baynd." I live about 45 minutes away, so I'd try and make them feel guilty and give it to me anyway.

But as it seems, I must wait until the afternoon on Tuesday. Which I'm fine with, as long as I get it >.>.

Just my luck, a million gamestops in my area and I called today and the one I preordered from is not doing a midnight release.

So, the Gamestop in Golf Plaza, in Mount Prospect/Des Plaines, IL, is NOT doing a midnight release. :mad:

Now I'm bummed.. I gotta wait until after work tuesday afternoon :(

In Lexington, KY; the Gamestop (was EB Games branded still, until the last couple weeks) in Hamburg Pavillion is doing a midnight launch....for both Rock Band and Mass Effect.

I haven't ever preordered a game before. How is the order of the list created? Does it only go by the day I put the 25 dollars down or do people who have totally paid their pre order off even though they reserved it after me get priority?

You just have to put down the minimum 25 dollars to reserve a copy. Your fine if you have preordered so their is no reason to be paranoid.

Just seeing all the Altoona, Pa area Rock Band lovers is awesome. Also from the Altoona, Pa area and the Gamestop at the Wal-Mart Plaza is not doing a midnight sale on the game. I asked at different points in the month, but it seems they said they didn't get a large amount of pre-orders like Halo 3. They got just enough for the people that pre-ordered up to the cut-off window and stopped, so they feel like they don't have to do the midnight thing, I guess. It sucks because I'd love to get it then, but I guess I'll be there at 10am Tuesday.

Lawl, that is pretty damn creepy. I don't live in Altoona but it's where I do my shopping because there is absolutely nothing near me. I live in Shirleysburg, about 45 minutes outside of Altoona. Very small town, thus I must travel a bit to get my Rock Band on.

I have a pre-order at Newegg but they are kind of annoying me :mad: Everytime I goto the gamestop up in Indiana they never carry games and tell me I should always pre-order. Anyway, I might hit up Wal-mart at midnight if my newegg order doesn't go through as planned.

Well, my GS isn't doing a midnight release so I called another large store I know is going to be open and they said they have quite a few 360 bundle versions....SO...I'm going to stand in line and be on just after MIDNIGHT tonight and NOT WAIT!...probably just sell my other GS Pre-order to someone or drop it and apply it to Unreal Tournament III.
