I'm debating whether or not to get this for the 360 or PS3. I was going for the PS3 because of the wireless controller and that I just like using my PS3 more. After hearing about the possibly GH3 Controller problem (which I haven't bought yet because I was indecisive) I'm leaning towards the 360 version of both games.

Is there any plans to add trophies with updates or Home integration. If so what types of things can be implemented with Home. Does anyone know if Rock Band 2 (if that's what's next) will come in a bundle with new instruments. If so I'll buy that for PS3 if the problems get worked out and Home and trophies are integrated.

Can anyone from Harmoix give me details!

I pretty sure they will, when Home comes out. But don't just get a game because it has "Achievements" or "Trophies", get it for the game.

As for RB2, I'm pretty sure that is not on their mind, nor would it be announced on a message board. I think they are just gonna update it through updates. As for instruments, they said it would be cool.

I would suggest getting for the system that more of your friends have. Then you will be able to play with them online.

You are missing the point though. When you have both systems and by all acounts there is no difference between them, which do you get?

Personally I would go for 360. Achievements and easier online setup for the win.

I have to agree. Same situation. That incompatible Les Paul rumor for PS3 doesn't help either along with the dongle Strat.

Seriously, what's wrong with a dongle? Until you hear about it causing problems on the PS3, comments like this are pointless. But it should be expected out of you.

I think the deciding factor is whichever system more of your friends have, if you plan on playing with them online.

I'm going for PS3. Free online, and possbile Home Compatibility. Not to mention I'm creating an online band with 3 other friends on PS3.

Lol at Live having better online. As far as Rock Band goes, it's all equal. Inviting people from within the game is universal to all consoles as it is built into the game. So are all the features that make Live so great, not to mention you have to pay for it.

How does it have easier online? Have you ever used PSN?

The USB hub that needs a wall plug doesn't go well either.

I'd take the dongle and wireless over wired and hub any day.

The incompatible Les Paul rumour could just be one person, especially since many websites have confirmed that it works with the PS3 Rock Band.

With the size of the dongles, I would take the hub. I can live with the USB cables until the wireless guitars come out and when they do, they won't have dongles. Too me it is far more important that you have friends with PS3's.

BTW aren't the drums wired for all systems?

Im getting it for the ps3 because i just love PSN. Its free and works perfect. I would have dongles instead of a hub to. So ChaosElement, if you wanna add me to your psn and rock out sometime, my thing is punkrocker69. Rock on
