I'm going to be going off on a few things so please keep that in mind.
One about the guitar difficulty...It's too easy = Harmonix sucks.
Thats not true at all...How about HMX just goes and makes every guitar song like Guitar Hero III? Well if they did that I wouldnt finish the game. I mean I love guitar hero since the first one and something about part 3 just turns me off..... Could be the fact the expert note charts are crap or the fact i could suck. But i think it might be the note charts....I mean the game seems rushed most of the hidden characters all use the same star power animations....
Two the solo carreers are just practice modes.
ugh...go play guitar hero its only teir based. No wait, thats right they added animated cut scenes so it makes it better. Just becuase its not Band World Tour doesnt mean it isnt going ot be fun.
Three the new guitar sucks because THEY (insert review) said so.
Ok be a drone and dont think for yourself.
Four the Demo's sations suck so the game will suck also, so I wont get the game now.
I'm glad you tried the game atleast but dont base your views of the game on the demo which was said to use fualty gear. By all means dont get the game thats one more for someone who truely wants it.
Please forgive spelling errors.Internet People make me mad.

True, true, true, true.
When I started Guitar Hero III, I thought the note charts were fine.
Unfortunately, that was when I was playing Hard. Expert even has random notes placed out of nowhere! THE SONGS ARE HARD ENOUGH, NEVERSOFT!
It's ridiculous the way people are basing the quality of the Strat due to the fact that some reviews said it sucks (without even giving a reason).
And games are obviously going to be a failure when pre-released controllers break down after they're played by thousands of people who don't mind breaking others' stuff.

I thought GH3 to be pretty easy... The notecharts do suck, but they give me a challenge that I enjoy at times... I like the last 2 tiers only though :D

Yeah, I've completed GH3 on Expert. :P But still many an 8x was destroyed by a randomly placed green note...

Sigh, I'm stuck on Slash on expert. I want to play songs, not battle, so I havent been motivated to try more than half an hour or so.

Yeah. =( It probably wouldnt be that big a deal except the fretboard for split screen play is annoyingly short, so playing at my normal hyperspeed level of 3 means I cant see far enough ahead to play as well as I normally would.

For battles (especially Lou), it helps to take hyperspeed off.

People are complaining about the easier difficulty about Rock Band on guitar and they aren't seeing the bigger picture!!! It's more realistic and true to how it really sounds as opposed to an unrealistic all over the place note chart that only adds difficulty and isn't realistic in the way the song would play.

I still think the worse one is people moaning how easy the Drums in the Demo are on expert despite the fact theres no Bass Pedal.
