Connecting Wii Guitar Hero guitar

Hi,

Just bought Rockband for Wii and have the 3 instruments which came with it working fine through the USB hub.
Can't get my Guitar Hero guitar to work with it though which means no 4 piece band.
The Wii controller comes on but it manifests itself as another player on the microphone.

Anyone know what's wrong?

PS. Just realised other threads asking same question. and the answer is NO! Who the freak are these jokers. I've been waiting for this game since the Xbox ver came out couple of months ago and asked about it in a couple of shops, been assured each time that the guitar from GH3 WILL be compatible. The box says works with all compatible peripherals without stating that there AREN'T any. Serious miffed about this, it's not like it's a few quid, and there is NO way to play as a 4 piece on Wii. ARE YOU SERIOUS. I'd be sacked if I did something that stupid.

Yeah, when I had my Wii, I bought Rock Band as just the game, since drums and vocals I had no interest in, and the Wii guitar would not work with Rock Band. It seems like it's the same for Xbox 360, and was the case with PS3 as well, though they just got a patch to use the Gh3 guitar with RB. Atm, the only one I know is compatible with rock band is any GH3 PS2 Guitars with the PS2 version.

no the GH3 guitar doesnt work and its because the Wii Remote is used for the singer even if you conencted it to the guitar

this only works for the PS3,PS2 and Xbox 360 versions only
