Problem playing downloadable content for PS3 Rockband

Hey guys, i'm having problems playing downloadable contents for Rockband on my ps3. This was my first time buying tracks for my rockband, the songs i bought was The All American Rejects, Move Along and RHCP tell me baby.

The purchase was successful and then i installed the music but when returning to the rockband game i cant find the tracks anywhere.
The account i purchased the songs for was a new account as the old account that i finished on medium and hard was my brothers account so no songs have been completed on this account. Could this be the problem or something else?

Another thing you guys might need to know is that the rockband bundle i purchased was a US import as i live in the UK so that i was able to play before it came out over here in europe could this also be the problem?

Another question is that i bought the tracks on my new account is it possible to play it on another account on the same console ?

You can't use EU DLC on a US import, they're imcompatible, it's EU DLC with a EU game or USA DLC with a USA game. Sorry pal.

Oh come on that's not good enough is it? The price is quoted in Sterling and there is nothing, anywhere, to indicate that the download won't work on gear bought in the US. This is fraud, pal.

This is ridiculous, why did they make the EU songs incompatible with the US rock band?

i've also had this problem, its an EU copy of the game, and the prices are in sterling, so i assume the downloads were EU - UK as well, just a few of the songs i bought which do not work include Toxicity and B.Y.O.B. by System of a Down, and Rio by Duran Duran, there are several other which do not work, but i cannot recall these at the moment.
SOME of the songs i bought do work, but not all, frankly, this needs fixing.

hi all i to got rb the day it came out and have since downloaded several songs from sabbath to metallica they all work fine. however constant motion bye my fav band just does not work, to say i am furious is an understatement. i really was looking forward 2 playing to, i have also heared that u guys r having the same problems with quite a few other songs to. plz harmonix sort this out soon coz we have all paid alot of money for the whole rock band kit. i know it's early as the ps3 version only came out on friday, but it would mean the world 2 us rockers if the problem could be addressed thanks again guys

Does anyone know whether the disc artwork is the same for the US version and the UK version?

I'm one of these people that have a US rockband and decided to wait for Euro DLC - I downloaded £20 of stuff yesterday and consequently can't use it, and am pretty cheesed off. To me, it feels like a company shafting me.

My thoughts are that I will get the UK disc (as it's worth it), but can anyone tell me whether the artwork is the same?

Ive downloaded the songs from PS store, so they should work. But ive got the same problem, songs installed but they dont appear in the game. there must be something to do with this? its very annoying that ive payed money for the songs and they dont work! isnt there anything to do to fix this???

i've just had the exact same problem. Its not on. I think its to stop people buying from the US OR EU store depending on which offers the best price at the time, but really people should have been warned that the EU songs wouldn't work on the US rockband and vice versa. Luckily I only bought 2 songs from the UK store and will go back to using the american store. This is what I get for having rockband imported! Hope this is a problem they fix though, because its not fair.

Hi all, have a usa game and live in the uk
down loaded the Black Sab pack and cant find it in the game.
Not very impressed with harmonix about this situation and a few of the other issues. ie NO GAME SAVE BACKUP, spend hours playing and loose the lot if your ps3 goes down and you cant even get your band back via linking to these the web site. POOR POOR POOR. I bet usa game holders in the uk wont be able to online with their buddies who have the uk game either ??
Seriously now thinking of not bothering with RB2 should it ever reach the uk!! and switching to the GH world tour.

COME ON PLEASE SORT THIS OUT! at least release a patch so DLC will work.

Hi Jaytmek how have you managed to buy the usa downloads if you live in the uk, when i go to the store via the actual game all the dlc says purchased
