Ok, so I work at best buy part time. We, of course have the RB setup. I realized after a few days that the mic was not installed correctly. Once I realized that, I setup a controller for the game so people could sing.
It's a blessing and curse at the same time!! Ever since I have done that, the demo is constantly being played with a crowd always watching. I can say with 100% certainty that I can tell a huge difference in people when they have the ability to sing along while others play.
That being said, I think Nirvana has been murdered at least 10 times a day, but it's great fun.
Just my input...

I'm so happy that some of the people in the RB family are using their knowledge and power for good by helping the weak. Seriously though, I couldn't tell you about the problems I had at my best buy. The guy working there was such a putz, I was so excited, and the disk ended up being scratched. I don't think I've ever been that disappointed, maybe I died a bit inside.

The mic is hella fun indeed!
The first 2 BB's I went to didn't have it set up correctly. Once we found one with it, we were having 3478569156 x's more fun as a group! Even while playing the drums I would sing a long the parts I knew out loud and the back up parts, etc.
I totally agree.

Yeah I think people skeptical about singing are forgetting that everyone else that is playing is going to be focused on playing rather than scrutinizing their vocals like an American Idol judge.
