Hey guys, Rock Band 2 comes out tomorrow, and I will be picking it up as soon as it's out. I understand that the new game has a lot more online band stuff (like online world tour) and as much as I like playing with people in my apt, my friends just don't have the time to get to play with me any more, so here's me trying to find some cool players on xbl to play with.
Here's the lowdown:
I am primarily a drummer when I play Rock Band, and wish to fill that role most of the time, though I might pick up another instrument every now and then.
I am one song away from beating expert for drums solo tour for RB1
I am one song away from beating expert for guitar tour for RB1
I am one song away from beating hard on vocals tour for RB1
I also play a helluva lot of DLC, and I play all those songs on expert on instruments/hard on vocals (with the exception of some metal DLC, the drumset just doesn't do it for me sometimes).
So hopefully that gives you some kind of idea of my skill set.
Now, you should know, I'm really more of a casual player. As in, I play for fun, and I'm not picky about any of the songs we play (seriously, I hate picky people, it's a goddamn game). I'm a musician in real life, and I'm not really all that competitive, but it might be fun to participate in some competition here and there. So I'm not looking for douchebags who want to kick ass all the time, nor am I looking for little kids who like to be immature and jibba jabba over the headset all the time. I can randomly play someone on xbl for that.
What I'm looking for is some cool people to friend, who are relatively around the same skill level as me, and really like this game and all of it's content just like me. I'm sure this isn't a difficult proposition, so I'm posting here.
