Wha?
How would they do that?
Unless their new album was going to be released around the same time as the game, and Harmonix managed to score AC/DC's first single off the album for the game.
Hmmmm....

Maybe it'll just be them taking a quick paycheque for the Japanese ad campaign like Bill Murray in Lost In Translation
"For relaxing times... make it RockBand times."

Clarifying: Creepy - As in the schoolboy outfit works on one person and one person only. And I can't imagine it on anyone else but him.

I have the same problem. Having a banner up the top of the official site that says "WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL ROCKBAND WEBSITE" is just keeping stuck in my mind.

Hard to tell. It's way too vague.
I mean there is/has been a new album in the works for several years. The only way I could see them promoting this game is thru a new release. Other than that, the rumor doesn't make much sense.
Actually maybe this rumor isn't so far-fetched after all. According to www.ac-dc.net
"An all-star band lead by Brian Johnson & Cliff Williams will tour the US in July to support the John Entwistle Foundation, which is dedicated to helping provide free music education and instruments via libraries around the country. The 15-dates "Classic Rock Cares" tour will start in Las Vegas on July 6th, with a set list to include some AC/DC classics, and according to the poster, "new material". Sharing the stage with Brian & Cliff will be Joe Lynn Turner (Ex-Rainbow, deep Purple), Mark Farner (ex-Grand Funk Railroad) and former members of John Entwistle solo band."

I did see this show, however, when it came through my area. It was freaking awesome. :)

This thread should be locked and left to die like it already had.
And the OP should lose all access to GnR songs forever for having such a lame-ass name
