When it's plugged in and unplugged with the drums. Eh? You can play the drums in the game with it or without? Is it included with the drums or is it an extra feature So much for me knowing everything about Rock Band there is to know...

Yes it comes with it and you need it to play.

You can always not hit it and miss about 20 percent of the notes. But yeah, it comes with the bundle and needs to be stepped on.
And since you have 6 threads you created on the first page I assumed right away you didn't know everything there is to know about Rock Band. :p

Depends on the song and difficulty. Some songs like Blitzkrieg Bop you will fail if you don't use the pedal even on medium. Hitting the drum but not the pedal when they are simultaneous is the same as hitting only one button of the chord. It just doesn't count.

lol :D
Seriously though, you have to push the pedal in the full game, just not in the demo. HMX didn't feel like giving BB the pedal, so they altered the software so you didn't have to push it.
I assume that's what you mean... If not, then WHY ELSE WOULD YOU NOT PUSH THE PEDAL????  [head explodes]

yeah becuase me asking opinions is the same exact thing as me asking something about the game itself.

I thought the pads and the pedal could trigger independently.

There's a difference between immaturity and idiocy.

The kick pedal is an extra gem that you must hit. You need the bass pedal attached - it will not autoplay like the demos. Hope that clears things up!
