Evening everyone.
Just wanted to post some observations I've made this weekend.
I went to several stores in and around San Antonio today, asking for rock band, and interestingly, alot of employees had no idea, but a few did know about it. For example, a New Braunfels walmart had the game only, but the manager told me that that's all they had and if anything else was coming in that it would be in tomorrow or monday. Circuit City said they had nothing. Several other walmarts said they didnt have it. However, one walmart I called a younger guy answered and said that he couldnt sell it but to go in at midnight and ask to pull one from the back. I went to that same walmart later and asked an older man, and he looked at the ceiling as if thinking of a response, and pointed to the game case saying if they had it it would be in the case, although i never said i was looking for a game. hmm.....
no dice at hastings either.
I know that newegg.com is still taking pre-orders, i don't know if many people have been placing orders there or not, but it's cheaper and 4.99 3-day shipping. I preordered mine on tuesday there.
Also, i went to two best buys and many walmarts here and have seen no demos yet, even though San Antonio has a ton of walmarts and best buys.
