Well one massive road blog...and one question.

The first includes info on the Spike TV shoot (airing right now) and info from the VMAs, GameStop and other joy. It ALSO involves the story of how I split my pants in front of 500 people....

The second thread asks you what outstanding questions you have after the launch of RB2. What haven't we answered yet that you can't figure out yourself? (20 Free DLC timing? Other Platforms? What else do you need to know?)

If you keep the flaming to a minimum and ask the questions thoughtfully, I'll do my best to dig and get answers out to you. (No promises of course, but it's easier to answer questions if we know what they are! :)

My friend and I just got back (1:40 A.M. EST) from searching around the whole city for RB2. We searched every walmart, and we checked all of the gamestops and blockbusters (which were closed)

One Walmart ealier on the 13th said they would have it, and when I checked at 11, they told me they didn't, and would not, have it until Tuesday. I checked other Walmarts, and they also had no idea.

As a retail employee, I can tell you that stores like Wal-Mart probably wont have the game until Tuesday, simply because releasing on Sunday doesnt fit shipping schedules.

But specialty stores like Gamestop etc. will have it tomorrow/today. I didnt hear about a midnight release in my city, so Ill have to hold out till mid-morning. :(

RB2 is out now. Sunday Sept. 14th. Wal-Mart people have no idea half the time. I got mine at Meijer at midnight.

I was a fool and pre-ordered mine via GameStop.com (for the rad t-shirt you get with the pre-order). Sadly, this means that I must wait until Wednesday (when UPS claims it will be delivered), which gives me only a few days to play it before my winter semester starts!

The moral is that everyone should boycott UPS.

Rockband 2 came out yesterday 9/14/2008. I bought it from GameStop and rocked for 10 hours straight.

I'm sure he hasn't forgotten about any of you or the questions you posted in his blog, but HMXJohnD is our resident Road Warrior, which means he's spent two of the last 50 days in the office and the other 48 days bouncing from LA to Germany to Vegas to New York City to Seattle to Chicago, etc. He doesn't get a ton of down time so I applaud him for even taking on the task of doing an informal Q&A, because it means he'll probably end up updating the blog with answers from a hotel room in another time zone at some unfathomable hour of the morning.

In short: give him time and I'm sure he'll update when he's able. Thanks for your patience.

All good. Thanks for clarifying that. I think everyone understood he's constantly jumping from one place to the next. He set himself a very tight deadline there, and as much as I doubted he would meet it, I was affraid this had slip between the cracks. I didn't realize this was informal either, even more of a reason to be patient :)

They need to make a bass guitar like the one that mad cats made but it needs to be wireless and get some one other then mad cats to make it because i personally do not like mad cats the will probably put the rubber on all the parts of the guitar
